General Enquires

Is Myanmar Polyland Academy an international school or a private school?

Our Myanmar Polyland Academy is an International Standard Myanmar School because our school curriculum is designed to offer international education to the new generation of young people in Myanmar. Thus, our students will not learn only Pearson Edexcel course.

We would say it is not adequate for a Myanmar child. It is because Pearson Edexcel course is written on UK-English National Curriculum (2014) and is aimed for international students.

We believe that our Myanmar citizens need to know about social, cultural and geographical features of our country. Therefore, we have added areas of learning for children to be able to develop skills required for the 21st Century.

Our MPA provides a good learning environment with all necessary support, and we make sure that children will not have extra burden from their studies. It is because our MPA standards comprise of teaching lessons which comply with the 21st Century skills, employing the learner-centered approach and using effective teaching learning materials for fun and safe learning experience.

The areas of:

  • Myanmar Language
  • Social Studies (History and Geography)
  • Ethics and Citizenship
  • Environmental education
  • Technology and Engineering
  • Arts and Design
  • Music and Dance, and
  • Second Languages.
